At JSON Con, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website and the JSON Con desktop application.
JSON Con is designed as an offline-first desktop application. We do not collect, read, transmit, or store the data/files you process within the application. All JSON, XML, CSV, and code editing happens entirely securely on your local machine.
When you purchase a lifetime license, our payment processor (Paddle) handles your transaction securely. Paddle collects necessary billing data such as your name, email, and payment details to process the transaction and issue your license key. We do not store your credit card information directly on our servers.
The Software does NOT track your individual data entries. We do not use telemetry to monitor your document contents. Any future implementation of crash reporting will be entirely opt-in.
If you have purchased a license, you have the right to request deletion of your account and billing email from our license database by contacting support. However, doing so may invalidate your ability to retrieve lost license keys.
